Supporting functions used across the framework.

  • Raster Docstrings — reading, downsampling, reprojecting, and plotting raster data, and extracting tree heights from a canopy height model.

  • Geometric Docstrings — converting masks to shapely polygons, building ellipse masks, Voronoi partitioning, and making overlapping polygon sets non-overlapping.

  • Geospatial Docstrings — coordinate reference system helpers.

  • Detection Docstrings — helpers for computing detection confidence scores and loading released DeepForest weights.

  • Benchmarking Docstrings — loading the NEON and Detectree2 benchmark datasets and evaluating detections against them.
